Mercedes Jenkins-Carter and Darlene Coleman-Jones present the 2022 Black History Month - a Phillip E. Walker Video Memoir (BHM) 10 minute in length documentary film at 5:30pm and again at 6:30pm this coming Monday evening. A short Q&A discussion will follow each screening of the Movie.

Having been completed on the February 1st, 2022 Lunar New Year, this petite motion picture won more than 88 awards from 6 continents and had its World Premiere in a Beverly Hills Academy Award® Nomination Qualifying Standard Theatrical Run.

As the final date on the Walker's Black History Month Presentations 2023 California State Tour, all ages, races and persuasions are encouraged to come share in this educational closing of the Month celebration.

Using the stage name PhilE, this Short's starring performer is a prolific Hollywood talent with more than 1000 different film and video shoots under his belt since moving to SoCal in 2014. Currently appearing in heavy TV rotation during National Basketball Association games airings as the dancing Hero in Rakuten's "The Cash Back Shimmy with Steph Curry" commercial spot, Walker's 98 music video performances include a featured Principle Dancer role in the official music video of Justin Timberlake's OSCAR nominated Trolls theme song "Can't Stop The Feeling!". With BHM being only one of the 58 Phillip E. Walker-MFA short film performances, Phil has played along side of many A-List Hollywood stars including: Courteney Cox, Common and Bruno Mars. The above particular performances will be displayed as curtain warmers just prior to each BHM Film screening.
